3D Modelling & Measurement Specialist
Major Infrastructure | Digital Earthworks | National Projects
One of the UK’s Leading Earthworks Contractors
We are working with one of the UK’s top earthworks businesses, delivering complex self-delivery packages across three nationally significant infrastructure programmes: HS2, Sizewell C and Lower Thames Crossing. These projects demand high-quality digital models, reliable data and consistency across multiple delivery teams.
To support this workload, the Professional Services Unit is strengthening its technical capability and is seeking a 3D Modelling & Measurement Specialist. This role is focused on producing and managing accurate 3D models, rather than operating or maintaining machine control systems on site.
The Role
Working closely with the Survey Manager and project teams, you will be responsible for creating, reviewing and managing construction-ready 3D models that support earthworks delivery. Client-issued data will be converted, checked and developed into clear, buildable models that engineers and survey teams can rely on.
You will support temporary earthworks modelling, spatial analysis and measurement, providing accurate information for planning, volume tracking and reporting. While your work will interface with machine guidance workflows, your focus remains on model quality, integrity and usability, not plant operation.
This is a role for someone who enjoys solving problems digitally, improving how data flows across projects and ensuring modelling standards are maintained across a large, active portfolio of work.
What You’ll Be Involved In
What We’re Looking For
You will have experience in 3D modelling within an earthworks or civils environment, with a strong understanding of spatial data and measurement principles. You’ll be comfortable using TBC, AutoCAD or LSS, organised in your approach and confident working across multiple projects.
Why This Opportunity
This is a long-term role within a respected Professional Services Unit, offering exposure to some of the UK’s most significant infrastructure programmes. Your work will shape how projects are planned, measured and delivered.
